About

Ice Cream Social is an experimental exhibition and studio space based in Port Chester, NY. The space includes a 3,800 sq ft gallery, private artist studios, and a shared workspace furnished with equipment for various media, including a ceramics kiln.

Our space opened to the public in March of 2022 with a group exhibition featuring 24 artists from around the country and provided an accompanying series of artist panels, school workshops, and a live performance art event, all free and open to the public. Ice Cream Social’s second show featured the MFA cohort at SUNY Purchase.

In April, the first set of studios was completed and a curated group of studio artists was welcomed into the space. We look forward to our first full year of programming in 2023, which will include exhibitions on and off-site, community workshops, performances and festivals in partnership with other art spaces and community-service groups.
